Spent the weekend cooking and eating instead of running. Could have gone for a run but wine with lunch put paid to that! This app subtracts calories from exercise so on some days net calories are quite low. I think a day off now and again can be helpful! But if I’d gone for my 10 mile run it would have looked better!
I’ve been reading about the Julia Buckley fat burn plan on the blog ‘from snickers to marathon’. I’m thinking about giving it a try for 12 weeks. Apparently most people lost 15% body fat ( haven’t found out yet whether for me that means a reduction from 35 to 20, or is 15% of 35, which would take me from 35 to 30, still not to be sneered at). Losing fat does help you to run faster and is better for staying cool.
Anyway, I’m going to read a bit more about it and I’ll let you know what I conclude.
Sounds interesting, I’m intrigued! I too had a weekend off and I think it helps to have a bit of a treat now and again 🙂 xxxx hope you enjoyed it x
Yes thanks, hope you enjoyed yours too! Normally my weekends are about recovering from work R’n’R and a bit of running as part of that. This weekend I made the effort to be sociable, which was nice but I couldn’t do it every week, I’m not a party animal!
