The fat burn revolution day 1

imageDay 1 down , 83 to go!

After some reluctance to get started this morning I went for my 30 minute jog and of course felt much better after it. This evening I did the first weights session.  It was hard, as described, as you do the heaviest weights you can, but mercifully short.

let’s see how it goes on a work day!

About mawil1

Hi my name is julie and I took up running at the age of 46! Hence 'mawil' Middle Aged Woman In Lycra. I did it at first because someone asked me to do a charity run with them. I couldn't run at all, but pride wouldn't let me be seen to be unable to run so I started a walk run programme. I stuck with it and to my surprise I found that I liked it- after a couple of weeks of progress I was hooked! My blog is about my progress in running and how I fit it in with the rest of my life.

Go for it, Julie. Try not to think of it as 12 weeks. Just get through this week. One day down, six to go. Then have a mini reward – not food related. Like a manicure or bunch of flowers, or movie date. Whatever treats you.

Good idea! I hadn’t really thought about treats, but breaking it up into weekly chunks with a ‘reward’ at the end sounds like a way to make it more manageable. Thanks for the idea, now I need to think of some good non food treats!

Good luck with the program Julie. I think the results can be dramatic.

Thanks peter! I will be pleased if that’s the case. Not as dramatic as your haircut though! Have you had it done yet? Will there be pictures? 😊
